What type clutch and tranmission do you guys use?

Look in the build section and you will have your answers. 700 and pulley's for the most part.

i use a pearless 700 in my mudding mower, and ill tell you know them things are tuff as nails, its been under water , and its been to he** and back, it sounds like its gonna bust apart but she keeps pullin ;)

Im using a Peerless 801 transaxle and so far has help up for over 3 years of abuse. But i am soon switching to a peerless 400 with 6.5 pulley on front and 3 on rear.

The Peerless 700 is the only way ta go .......... it can handle the abuse of the v - twins and some are makin 60 - 70 HP  ;)

For drag racing, i think i would go with a centrifugal clutch, chain drive to a live axle. you liable to bust something if you drop the clutch on a 700 to drag race it

For drag racing i agree ........... but for Lawn Tractor Racin i would for sure say the 700 works just fine  ;)
