Lots of pople like the Wide Body as far as frame,  motor depends on what class you are going to be running in. Transmissions 350/400 or 700 is the way to go. The only thing is, parts for the 350/400 are very hard to come by since they are not made any more. I do know a guy that can get the gears for the 350/400 machined...so the case is the part that would be the hardest.

Would a stock 350 hold up better than a 700 with nothing changed but the grease to oil?

The cheapest class could be the IMOW class.

IMOW would be your best bet here.... For $300-$400 You can have a USLMRA Legal mower.

A friend of mine is running a stock 31 OHV (17 1/2) in front of a stock 350 with 30W oil in it. He runs it hard, it has held up so far. He changed a couple of the bushings to needle bearings, and added a vent...other than that it's stock. I had Don build mine so I have never ran a stock one and I have never ran a 700. I hear both are pretty much bullet proof if built. Stock, I don't have a clue.

That would be it.

Come on oveer to my place, I have 4 wide bodys you can have...but first you have to promise not to race against a quad thats going t run over you, or a cart your going to run over :noplease:

Hate to brake the news but a wavor ain't going to keep you from being "mowed" over by a yerf dog. Those yerf dog carts are pretty big, it ain't no yard cart.
