Intek Pistons
« on: April 22, 2008, 11:32:05 am »
Are the Intek 20 and 22 Hp pistons flat or do they have a dish in the top of them?I have a set supposed to be out of a 20 hp Intek that are flat with the number 214608 STD stamped on the top but when I look up the part number for this piston it is 499588 and shows a dish piston. :bash:

I have a 44 with flat pistons?? Would it be to my advantage to have dished pistons?

Stock Briggs or after market? I would love to have a set. You can get after market ones that are flat, but they are pricey.

Me either George. I know i'm hardheaded but I still think flat top would be better than the dished for
making HP.
