no its not a ground the motor is grounded to the frame

one wire (red) is for charging the other one (blue or white) is for lights

on my motor there are two wires coming out from underneath the flywheel. i believe one is red and the other black, they have a female plug on the end of them. do these need hooked up? Also the wire coming off of the push button back to the solenoid connects to the small male plug on the solenoid, right?? sorry about all the questions guys. thanks a lot.

You can hook the charing wires up if your running in IMOW, saves you trickle charging it between races.

You can take the flywheel off and take the alternator off can't you or do I still need to leave it on just don't hook up the charging wire?

okay this might be a stupid question but my kill switch has 2 "C" terminals and 2 "M" terminals.  I only have to use 1 of each right?  "M" goes to the magneto and the "C" goes to ground right?

Thanks!

The C on the kill switch means coil and the M means magneto.  For a mower you need to run a wire from one M post to your coil/mangeto and the other M post to a ground.  The C post are for a coil set ups that needs power unlike our mowers.

im pretty sure thats a solinoide idk how to spell it but it takes the power that runs from the battery and and hooks up to the ignition so when u turn the key over it lets the power go to the starter. so if thats bad it wont let u give power to the starter ;)

Not the Solenoid, they are talking about the kill switch.
