Not squidd, but that is a starter relay. The power feed goes from the battery to the starter.

That's what that would be a starter solinoid or relay can be a useful part may want to hang on to it...

Yep go back to the drawing near the top of this post...

Heavy wire in from battery, heavy wire to starter and thinner wire from start switch...

For your basic "racing" mowchine...(no lights, no charging, Kill switch and push button starter) this is all you need...

go to uslmra.com they have a complete diagram on how to wire your tactor and it is very easy to understand click on files when ya get thereand then click on briggs wiring even if ya dont have a briggs

Ok hey squidd i need a complete wiring harness including the alternator can u make me one? it would help alot tHANKS i have a 2 cylinder briggs without lights

Haven't really found a use for an alternator on a racing mower...so no can't help you there...
