What would be the power difference of converting to alcohol. Would it make that much of a difference than running gas in Briggs engines? What is required to convert? What are your thoughts??

Hmm...thanks for the links Squidd....alot of foks seem to be against it....but in the karting world it seems to be the "way to go" from what I hear. In fact seems to be the norm from what I understand. Just looking for some input and opinions. I know the rules of lawnmower racing pretty much prohibit the use of it....but that in itself kind of says its an advantage of some kind...would it not? Just a newbie with a curiosity  :P

I think it's more of a "cost control" thing in mower racing...

But if you hook up with George in the EC Forum he mentioned, he could lead you thru it...

the main thing is it burns cooler so they don't melt down motors.
