Chain drive trannys?

Can anyone tell me what kind of mowers have these chain drive trannys in them? :? I know alot of you run them but I have been unsuccessful in spotting one :cry:

I think I have found an old dynamark with a chain drive not sure though because I havent seen it yet, will go tomorrow and look at it do you reckon it has the right tranny in it ????

I went to check it out today it was chain drive but the tranny was wee bitty and only had 1 speed forward. not an option

I have seen them on john deere R72's. The little rear engine lawn mowers.

My buddy's old Homelite rear engine has one I believe that's a late 70's model. I think the model is RMX.

I have found several on small rear engine (old) craftsman mowers they are not to plentiful but was able to find  afew with some digging spot em in someones backyard and ask .

i've got lucky i have this scrap guy that comes by the shop every week.i gave him a pic of a 700 and told him i'd give him 15$ each one he brought me it's been 2 weeks and i've got 8 of them  i might have to call off the dogs so to speak but they are out there
