Tom, is the new billet rod for the 8hp (190707) made for the stock heavy piston or is there a corresponding lightweight piston number to go with it...?

Looked up a dozen JE Piston sites (including yours) and didn't see anything available for this application...

By, "it will be", I take it they're not in production/available yet...?

How much does this syncro rod help an engine?

There is no performance gain by using the billet syncro rod. It is just stronger, therefore reducing the chance of a catostrophic failure.

We call it a reduction in "Pucker Factor"
