I have a 31 ohv and I have had problems with the needle valve adjust. keeps backing out due to vibration. What is the best resolve for this problem?

it sounds like it is striped out and it can not tighten up enough to it in place not really sure about what to do to hold it you might have to replace it

Depending on which adjusting needle you have you may need to buy a modified emulsion tube which allows the needle to screw deeper into the nut housing.

if its not stripped weld a washer on the end of it and wrassle a zip tie through the washer onto something to secure it
course it better be tuned where u want it before the race

No it is not stripped, it does have an e.c. needle that is a bit longer than others that I have. I thought about putting a nick in the threads to hold it or a heavier spring.

Nope do not do that the emulsion tube in the center needs to be modifed in order for the needle to screw in deep enough to hold itself in.

Hi George; can I ask what you do to modify the emulsion tube, if not, how much for one already modded.
