why a single spring. stock engine . mild or wild .

cheaper way is the ec kit. good for mild engine. you could use only the outter if the engine is mostly stock

I would say its between mild and wild deff not stock. Not concerned about price really just didn't wanna run the double spring I think it's over kill and I don't wanna be ripping out studs.

well unless you want to only turn it to less than 6000rpm . you will need heavy dual spring. you wont strip or break a stud in a vanguard unless you have clearance problem . even the ec dual spring float at 8k ...

Gui---your valves are too heavy,we got 12000 with those springs with 48 pounds seat pressure but the hollow cams would break and destroy the engine

yea but ec spring are only 40lb new without shim. and 38lb after a few race . stock 23hp steel valve cheatah cam float at 8k

On my stuff i use something else for spring, biller cam and  titanium valve so this is not a issue at all

Reinforce your head and run the double spring.   You will be happy.
