AVS block venting

Curious how you guys are venting the AVS blocks?  Do you guys vent them like the old Flattys and Non-AVS engines?  Leave the PCV valve under the flywheel?

Most of my Briggs were always self ventilating when the crank abruptly left the block.
Aside from that, I always ran a hose from the pcv up under the dash to a filter.
