Intek Nikki 2 bbl carb help
« on: May 01, 2016, 08:09:04 pm »
Has anyone ever tried running a spacer plate between the carb and intake on an Intek with Nikki 2 bbl carb? The original set up closes off each barrel to just one cylinder. Thought a spacer may allow more fuel mix to each cylinder.

I bought an engine that was done this way.  Someone ground the plastic between the runners to open it up as you are describing.

I threw that manifold away.

You may gain a little on the top end but it kills the torque.
