Hey guys just a quick question have been searching and haven't found an answer I'm looking for. Is there a way to tell if a motor is avs or non avs without tearing it down? It no longer has serial numbers that can be read

IF THE DIPSTICK GOES THROUGH THE BLOCK IT'S AN AVS. IF IT GOES THROUGH THE PAN IT'S AN NON AVS.
