OK, so I buy the older aluminum shaft rocker setup, in perfect shape and complete, and then also acquire some stock 38ci heads (round intake port). Go to put the two together, and not happening. The 38ci heads have 2 raised anti-rotation bosses on each rocker stud mounting pedestal. Also, the stud mounting hole in smaller in the head than what the shaft mounted rocker stud thread diameter is.
I do have a Bridgeport, but just want to confirm if I simply mill the anti-rotation tabs off the stud pedestal, and then drill and tap them for the larger stud thread, we should be good to go? Looks like it, but checking to see if anybody else has knowledge of or has done the same with success. Thanks.
