3 twins

i have three briggs twin engines i keep seeing posts abou vangaurd v-twin ohv and opposed how can i find out what mine are the newest one is mod42e707 type2631e1 code9901255b the other two are older but look almost the same the 14 says 14 twin 2 on the air cleaner and the 16.5 looks like the exact same motor

an opposed will be one cylender on the left one on the right and will be larger then a v twin. the Vtwin will look like a V

OHV  mean Over Head Valve. instead of the valves being in the block they are over the piston.

got that part would that mean the head would be much bigger or how are they identified

on the ohv there will be a lil tin cup looking thin sticking out by the spark plug and has OHV stamped into it

A newer tractor if you are looking in a bone yard you might not find one.
