I'm running a stock 8 horse motor. What would you guys recommend for a diameter and length for a exhaust pipe

make the pipe about a foot long, paint it, cut it off a couple of inches past the place it burnt the pain off
Opps! missed the word stock, just put a muffler on it.

Although stock as factory parts internal/external, it is an ungoverned racer...and just a couple inches past where the paint burns off will work fine Don.
