Vanguard Valves
« on: July 19, 2015, 03:32:49 am »
Does anyone know the difference in the size of the 35 and 38 vanguard intake valves? Was wondering if its worth to put a 38 intake valve in. Or if anyone that would have a suggestion for a larger intake valve for a 35 cube vanguard set of heads.

Can or do they make even bigger and would it be worth it for the 35?

I know e.c. does sell larger valves but the require the valve guides to be made a little larger because the stem is  larger

Yes bigger valve is better it will make more power . but what are you trying to do a mild build or max effort build. its not the same budget... for mild build 23hp valve size will work just fine . but to fit bigger valve you will need a bigger seat add more cost ... EC . performance vtwin and tyler cromwell have bigger valve
