Jack shaft pulley size
« on: May 29, 2015, 08:17:53 am »
If I run a 6 on motor 5 on the jack shaft and a 4 on the transaxle would this be a good setup.
The only reason I am asking is would it be better to have a little bit bigger pulley on the jack shaft.
Or would 4in on the jack shaft and transaxle be ok.

From what I have read on here.as long as the pulleys on the jackshaft are the same size it acts like it isn't there

I guess I am going to run 5 on the jack shaft so the pulleys won't be the same size on the jack shaft
And transaxle

Is there a specific ratio needed? Like in S/S for ARMA you need an 8:1 Final ratio. A 6 to 4 sounds about right.
