You need a good nickname and a hot wife and/or girlfriend. And buy me beer.

I think having a job is key.
I have found that people who need to go to work on Monday tend to drive less like sausages.

Forgot about that one. Ed and I have seen plenty of that. And, Ed just texted me that the usage of cool catch phrases is imperative.  Ed would share some his personal favorites, but he doesn't feel like getting banned from Heymow right now. Maybe tomorrow.

A little known secret to on track speed is having just the right amount of helmet "stank".
What is helmet stank, you ask?
Well, take your helmet and put it through a few heat/sweat cycles. Then put it away without scrubbing it out. Repeat as necessary.
Once it reaches a point where it smells like an opossum deficated, died and was then lit on fire in it, you have achieved the state of "stank".
Now, once you slap that brain bucket on your noggin, the fumes will begin to soak in just about at the green flag.
By the first corner, you cannot help but go as fast as possible just to get the thing off your dome where you can then liberally douse it with Raid, Lysol, and perhaps some Oxy-clean.

This speed tip has been provided free of charge.
Your welcome.

I was told along time ago, to be a good racer it takes brains and guts, to start out in that order, and with seat time you will eventually be able to not rely on the brains so much because that part will come natural.Start out racing yourself, and figuring out your machine, and remember you must finish to win

If you have helmet stink, you are doing it wrong.
It MUST be stank.
Trust me.

To finish first, first you must finish…..  get your machine dialed in and comfortable and you will be a better driver.  A machine that doesn't handle is going to make a good driver look like a bad one….
You never win a race by focusing on one aspect of the race!  Motor isn't everything, but you better have a good one!  Chassis too!  But remember, a driver can take a slow machine and make it faster!  I may not have/be the best of any of these but I'm trying!
