« on: April 17, 2015, 01:47:10 pm »
Ok my step son is wanting to build a super stock mower .I have a peerless 820 and a pit bike rotor how can I make this work . I read that you can weld a reducer bushing on the axel and make a hub and drill it to fit the the rotor how do I center everything up to do this

You will need a "hat" to move the rotor over the top of the end of the transaxle, as otherwise, you will run out of room to fit the brakes and the wheel. Unless you go about 46" wide..

I made a few out of a bushing from tractor supply and a disc from a pit bike I got off eBay. I had to make an adapter to marry the two

Not sure. I just type in pit bike rotor or disc.  We use to get them for $18 to $20. I think there more now.
