Also i am going to get a new engine, has anybody used a horizontal shaft, with a jackshaft?

Yes. But only legal in the FX classes.   Not beginner classes

As of now i am not going to be racing, maybe after i get a little building time under my belt and find out what i have to change, as i am sure its not going to be perfect the first time around.
