Oil filter / block off plate
« on: March 30, 2015, 08:35:10 am »
Wondering if someone can help me. I am running a 16 horse vanny twin, horizontal shaft. I currently have a oil filter on the sump plate. I understand there is a plate that can be purchased but have been told there is some things that need to be done.  I need to remove the filter for clearance reasons and change oil frequently.

Can someone tell me where and any kit and/or part numbers to order.  It's hard to order without your model number and code. I'm thinking model is 294447.  Thanks

Briggs #807689   it is a plate with just 1 port in it, just plug it off, or run an oil pressure switch/gauge.
If you quit when you're behind, you will never win.

You can also find an adapter with lines running off to remote locate the filter.
