Just wondering the pros and cons of running the mikuni round slide or flat side on a vanquard?

If your buying new  go with the flat slide.   Better carb.

And run 2.    Not just one.   32mm is a good size.   Mine are 32 or 34mm.   We tried 28mm and they were too small.

Be sure to get the needle and seat for a fuel pump.   Or use a small pump.   I have the big 2 port mikkuni pump and it pushes fuel past the needle and seat at idle and low RPM's.   Fixing that soon!!!!

i dont think they make a needle and seat for a fuel pump ... i run twin keihin with the big round mikuni pump and i just setted the float height lower and never had a problem i usualy set the float lower in every carburator with a pump . usualy cure the stumbling at slow speed on bumpy track... unless you run a 30ci vanguard . 32mm or more is better for bigger engine

They make a different set needle and seat.   I'm not 100% sure what the application is.    I will find out next week when I pick mine up from Zach.

i know they make the seat in differant hole size for the mikuni , smaller size may work better with a pump

You want the smaller hole for pump. Definitely.
