« on: February 21, 2015, 06:49:12 pm »

You can message me if it's some kind of secret? Any one running this set with stock bore?

Owen I have a drop in JE 2.835 bore fo 35" but will not work with arc rods only with .490 pin rods that have longer rod ratio total piston rod combo 30 percent lighter than other brands. not the chepest But you get what you pay for. 7075 rods with inserts,ARP rod bolts Have been tested in engines that run in exces of 10,000 RPM.you should gime them some serious thought

I don't have stock pistons so either way I got to buy. I bought long rods so I really want to make them work. If I bought stock pistons who out there will shave them right? I don't want to take the belt sander to them.
Stock 35 cube piston #808326 only comes with rod? . 102.20 usd each. What's 50 buck more each? More or so.

Owen if the rods you already have are new I'll even take them on trade since your buget seems to be a real lssiue could be less than you think.Plus the performance gains could be supriseing. give it some thought and give me a call won't be disapointed I promise! Rocket Ron. Might even be some other go fast goodies you could be intersted in .Fact known I have some of the fastest vannies around.843-287-2042 any time

even if you buy new briggs piston the current style is too thin to mill the top down. it may work but not for long.. i ordered a set for a stock rebuild a few month ago and they dont come with rod . they have the piston, ring and clip in the box and you need to buy the pin seperate...

i had succes with the previous gen around 1997-2000 style piston . they work very good also the old pre 1997 are pretty good too... if it was me i would use pvt piston with a arc rod
