I was wondering if there's  a cheaper  3.5" tac that works right with the briggs motors? I have a jr. Dragster tac on one mowchine and looking for a cheaper one that (works) for my twin. Thanks for any info

All the anolog (Dail type) be it 2" to 5" that are available start at roughly 100.00 equuis has several available check their web site out. Not sure of all their prices.

I'll check them out thanks George. What model's are people running on there mowers. I'm going to buy on ebay but don't want to buy a model that doesn't work. Says distibitor or coil hook-up? Anyone running these

You want the one that offers the inductive pick up. This has an adapter that hooks around the coil wire virtually allowing it to work on ANY motor what so ever. The new popular one http://www.equus.com/Product/8080/5%27%27-Shift-Light-Tachometer-%28DIS%29 be it 5" offers an adjustable shift light U can set that to come on at max rpm and it also has a highest rpm recall. I may use it along with my digatron just for the COOL factor!!! If not it will go into my Ramcharger.
