I attended my first lawn mower race a few months ago at the Fort Bend Fair Grounds just outside of Houston. Since then I have been doing a bunch of research and today I bought my first riding lawn mower today for $80. It's a Craftsman LT/V 10 and is in pretty good shape considering how old it is. I'm ready to dive into the lawn mower racing world and hope to start racing in the 2016 season.

Check out the LSMRA website for their schedule.  Next race for them is March 7th in Athens and then in Marble Falls on the 28th of March.  there is also a link on their website to the Cajun group that race in Lake Charles, La.  There are 3 racers in your area that race in the LSMRA.

 You should contact Mark Baker he is from texas He's a modarator on the site. I think he keeps most parts needed for building race mowers. He could be helpful with any questions you may have as well. Good luck keep the rubber side down.  Ron.
