Survey! What class you running this season?
« on: February 06, 2015, 05:31:42 pm »
I have never been to a national race yet. I am wanting to race at lease two national races. But I don't want show up to the track with a FX mower and no one is there to race with.

My survey is please reply with what class you running this year. And which tracks you are going to race at.

Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks Everyone!

Hi!
My name is Steve Bertrand. I'm going to be racing in my super modified Pinto on the mean streets of Green Bay Wisconsin. Chicks dig the way my Pinto leaves the competitors in the dust. Sure, most of it is blowby coming out my killer 1.75" dual pipes, but chicks dont know that type of stuff. When I am not busy tearing up the concrete with that bad boy, I enjoy brushing my hair and combing my moustache. Have you ever seen my moustache? It is spectacular.
Now, the drivers of my supersportman mowers, who happen to be 2 of the coolest dudes around will be breaking random bits and pieces off the machines all across the state of Wisconsin, and perhaps even the mid-west depending on the schedule and if my hip will allow me to get into Ed's truck. Let me tell you about that truck. I sure wish I had one just like it!

Did it happen to be a green 98 regular cab? I may have also been sporting a hazardous waste warning decal?

Yes, I'm the proud owner of 2 F-150 trucks, and yes, the green one is a rolling hazardous waste dump, but at 396k miles, it's still rolling.

And Ed, why you would even think of pimping me on my top fuel Pinto is beyond me. Yeah, the pipes may only be 1.75". but they're long.

Class sizes tend to change a lot depending on what part of the country your in. Seems to vary with what most are running locally sometimes. From what I've seen in the past is some classes get combined if there's a few in each one. I wouldn't let it discourage you from going. You'll fit in somewhere as long as you pass tech. National racing is a lot of fun with a lot of great people.

THE PICK UP OR THE INDIAN!

The pick up, Al. You want a TVT? You gotta get through both Ed and me. Besides, the pick up would be mucho cheaper.
