Can someone tell me if The Ec counter Wieght link for briggs ohv Counter wieght reliable

You mean the ARC link?
Unless EC makes one now as well?

At any rate, if you are going to leave the balancer in, it is a must. As far as reliability goes, I ran an engine with one for a full season, turned it 6,000 all year with no problems. Thats my only experience with them however.

I believe there arc e.c. sells them but awesome I was going To go brass weights but Don't have the cash rright now for machine work

Same as ED, raced 31 with cam and flywheel ,with the arc dogbone. Didn't rev it past 6000rpm and it stayed together for one season of racing.

Find a crank out of a older briggs flathead.   The one that uses the Nut to hold on the flywheel.   That crank has the removable eccentrics.  Then use the Brass weights.

Or better yet find a used link.   One of those should be rather cheap.

Don't have the MOney right now to get the Brass weights and get them pinned I have An older style crank

If you have an old style crank the eccentrics come off and the pin stays.   The brass weights just press on.
