2 barrel carb inlet tube question
« on: January 05, 2015, 11:37:21 pm »
On the vanny 2 barrel carbs, the inlet fuel hard line is directly in line with the center bolt on the intake elbow,it needs to be turned so i can get the fuel line on,can these be moved without breaking it or crackin the aluminum carb body? Maybe a heat gun and work it loose back and fourth? Idk but it needs to be moved...

            Help please!!

The inlets are just pressed in so you should be able to move it without any problem.

Do you have the black spacer installed that goes between the elbow and the carb?  All of the inlet tubes I have seen are on a 45 degree angle with the throat of the carb.  With the spacer installed, you will have room to connect your fuel line.
