need info on running a centrifugal clutch

I'm building a BTMRA limited mod. I want to run a centrifugal clutcth. need info on what kind of right angle gearbox or tranny I need to make this work. any info will be greatly appreciated.

Run a horizontal crank engine.    No box.  Run a jackshaft.

You can run either. I recommend using a mower style clutch set up with the trans though. A 700 trans seems to be easier to find, but the gear box is stronger if you ever move to super mod. most that run a centrifugal clutch uses the gear box. we have them that run both setups.

thanks cyclone racer and bubba4trax. since I'm stuck with a vertical engine, i'll be using a centrifugal clutch and gearbox. this build is for my 13 year old daughter and I think that set up would be easier for her to drive.

Oh.  Didn't realize this was a kids mower.   

700 would be your best bet.
