GEORGE WAS THE "SMOKEY" BP SEAT DROPED THE 4.5 [I DON'T THINK SO BUT I HAVE TO ASK]. I KNOW IT WAS DROPED SOME. YOU DID LOOK LIKE YOU REALLY ENJOYED THE BP'S AND HOPE TO SEE YOU BACK ON ONE.
CHUCK, THAT WAS JUST SOMETHING I HAD HEARD, AND HOPED IT WAS NOT TRUE [LOWER NUMBERS]. THATS ONE OF THE REASONS I STARTED THIS THREAD. I DO BELIEVE YOU TO BE CORRECT, THE FXT,AND FXS ARE TO CLOSE TO KARTS BUT IT SEEMS TO BE THE NATURAL PROGRESSION. THE FX'S ARE FUN TO WATCH AND PROBALLY FUN TO DRIVE BUT THE LOOK AND SOUND DOES BRING FOLKS TO THE FENCE. SPECTATORS LIKE TO SEE THE LATEST AND GREATEST.
TYLER, I BELIEVE YOU ARE CORRECT, RYAN COME OUT WITH THAT AND RAN AWAY WITH EVERYTHING! IT STARTED SOMETHING!
MARC I SAW THAT ALSO! LOL

It was within a 1/4 inch of the new rule. I do love them. always have. But the wife had said either I get off or quit altogether after Vestaburg. But Things change and I promised I wont get stupid on it. The new one is one of my OLD Chassis's. Was built originally for Carla Lawrence. Joe may he RIP had gotten it from her but give it back to me back in September to rebuild and run here locally. Who knows where it will show up.

I loved driving my BP.

I hated racing it with the guys who are out of control.

I'd prefer to remembered a gentleman driver than a winner.

I really like bp racing when you can race each other hard, knowing that the other drivers are not going to run into you.  Chasing George and Chuck will always be fun.

I agree.  The racers in both the BP and FXT drive the same.  If guys are going to bounce off the rear of my machine I"d rather be on my FXT.

You all need to come to Wisconsin. We'll run twenty lappers green to checker with nary a yellow. Most of the yellows we have are from Ed breaking something different again, but very, very few crashes. Our top 8 will never touch you. And none of them are running junk. Lots of good Vannies and a few Indians with good chassis, except for Ed when he breaks something.

Bert
Gary Busey and Rick James both used to live in my shop. Redline stole them.

BP's are like a sprint car, you really haven't driven one until you have filled it over!
BP's have already become a lot safer with the new seat rules. On a good track I can drive into the turns pretty good without even going on two wheels. On a rough track or as a bump or hole forms you need to adjust, you have to be smart. Also over the past several years I have raced wheel to wheel with great drivers in BP with no problems.
Also I hate the 6" wheel idea. What makes BP a fan favorite is seeing a lawn mower like they have at home coming off a turn carrying the front wheel and sounding like a Harley!
