going to buy a set of 20hp vanguard rockers and was wanting to know if the shaft mounted aluminum rockers or ec's roller rockers would be the way to go, i've read the shaft mounted aluminum ones would hold up to anything, so would buying roller rockers be better or just go with the cheaper shaft mounted aluminum ones? Also while i'm at it,better push rods all steel ones or billet?

It totaly depends on the springs your going to run and what kind of cam. Dobble springs will require the Ec or my billitt rockers Briggs latest .250 billitt push rods are a good choice.

Also the stock rockers are only 1.3 to 1 ratio where the rollers are 1.5 to 1

thanks, i'll be using ec's double valve springs and billet retainers and ec's 3030 "cheetha" cam
