rpm does have a lot to do with it.
A lot of thought has gone into this motor and it was an experiment on my part to see if I could make it work. I still have a bit to do to the valve train, ports and head and might even try to stoke it a bit more. If I can do that, the piston and pin will be a lot lighter do to a more common replacement.
