I would love to hear more about the child class.
Would the GP-T class be something I would be able to race in my first year?
I am trying to post a pic of what I have been up to for the last 4 weeks. brand new baby girl 4 weeks old.
We are working on a design and rules now, might be very similar or the same as what they are running in PA(with much success). ARMA will be introducing something similar too very soon, if they haven't already....we are waiting to hear what the build rules will be. There are some differences that need to be hashed out. I do know it will have a small stock engine,(might even be a push mower engine or maybe a stock Honda clone from Harbor Freight? dunno). It will have a very high gear ratio(roughly 10-11mph). We hear Florida will be running something along these line too but they use the Stock Honda GX200 clone and a centrifugal clutch....not sure how all that will work. My best guess is that we will be identical to ARMA & PA so we can race with them and vice versa.....waiting to take it all in and come up with a concept. It will be a very small format frame like a Mini-AP style or FX-Lite/Mini Pro.
Yes, you will have a very warm welcome to the GP-T class....be fare warned, there are some very fast guys & gals in this local class! and it's our second biggest class.
Congrats on the new racer addition to the family!
