tilly application

Do the tillotson carbs like ec sells actually have a factory mower application or are they adapted from some other engine application?

Other engines, most came from snowmobiles.
You never win a race by focusing on one aspect of the race!  Motor isn't everything, but you better have a good one!  Chassis too!  But remember, a driver can take a slow machine and make it faster!  I may not have/be the best of any of these but I'm trying!

Understood George, just looking for a way to use them as our club states that the engine must be off equipment originally manufactured for lawn mowing, vertical shaft, and using lawn mower carburetor and intake. Although a carb adapter plate seems to suffice as an intake.

Mower engines never came with Tillotsons so not sure how you could make one work if your rules are wrote as you spoke.

Yeah, just thought I'd ask, being new to all this I'm not as well versed in what's what. Kinda just hoping, looking for loop holes so to speak. I knew someone would be able to answer. Thanks George
