Single hp?
« on: September 01, 2014, 02:22:07 pm »
Curious question. On average what does say a Briggs or tecumseh single cylinder engine make for horsepower?  Example, stock bore, bigger cam, average hand ported head and milled, billet rod. 6000 rpm engine. I'm looking for a relative number as obviously there's variables. Roughly how much? Thanks, Matt.

What the hey, if we're only guessing, I'll say 120hp. Obviously,  this is pretty much an unanswerable question. Too many variables. I know this engine well, it's got my Carb on it. But with no synopsis, who knows? I have a good idea, bit it's still a guess.

That's a little more than 3 parsecs if we are using standard deviated load conversion rates.

Or, 360.870862 donkeypower. I'm pretty sure my math is correct on that one. 1 Donkeypower is 250 watts, 1/3H.P.

Look at the time, I better go get some Ergs before getting back to work.

Jamie and Adam's heads will implode? Wish he would have sent the engine to "So You Think You Can Dance?".
