bRIGGS HAS ONLY TWO VTWINS, THE VANGUARD OR THE INTEK. THERE IS NO OTHER. THE ONLY OTHER TWIN IS A FLATHEAD

ok,i have a 22hp that reads intek and a 16hp that does'nt.so ,vanguard and intek are diffrent

YES a vanny is smaller in size generally red or black shroud and metal Inteks generally have plastic shrouds, best thing post the model numbers and we can tell you what ya got.

Carbs are interchangeabl starter is nothing elses well rockers are. BUT we still are not 100% sure what ya got post the model numbers for us.

For briggs vtwin quick id......aluminum 2 center bolt valve cover is a vanguard, a tin 4 perimeter bolts valve cover is an intek.
