« on: July 27, 2014, 04:11:18 pm »
Ok i have a drop down front axle on my fxt and for starters i ran the cheaper azusa go cart spindles, junk!! So im now up grading because they bent during racing,im not set up for adjustable spindles so is there and company that carries race quality "C" cup spindles that just bolt up with a king pin and nut??

So you pretty much have to do the adjustable ones?

I have seen someone on here building spindles.  Once you get the spindle, you can buy 1/4" wall box tubing that is 1" taller than the spindle and then all you have to do is cut out 1 side of it.  Weld it to your front axle with the correct king pin inclination.  You make up the difference with washers/shims to help set up the chassis.  Cut the steering arms off your old spindles and weld them to the new and your done.

First front end I built had the C type spindles. The were strong but had no adjustment and were a real pain keeping them lubed.

After that, everyone I built had a fully adjustable front end except my current SP which I'm beginning to question why I did it that way. (Fixed caster adjustable camber)

I make spindles at a reasonable price. Let me know if you interested or have any questions

You could try this for a spindle cradle
