double barrel high idle

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem well i have no air leaks checked that but i do notice that the motor will only idle down if i return the throttle by hand i run a spring to return the throttle rod off the carb but i dont have a spring on the throttle level on the carb should i run my returns on my carb to get it to return properly. basically does anyone have any picture of how they did there return springs on a intek v-tiwn

You need a spring on the throttle shaft.  I had a rod on mine and it wouldn't idle Untill I added a spring.
