I break things.
Then I fix them.
Then I break something else.
I'm rather good at it.
I have been told to embrace what I am good at.

Zach I've had the same luck this season. Running stock stuff even. Bad luck comes with racing and stuff does break.
However..... I don't believe in that much luck, bad or good!!

If your breaking every race something is wrong.
Are you keeping up on maintenance ?

If your breaking drive line parts, something isn't right done where? Something is twisted or twisting? Maybe a weld broke somewhere? Metal fatigues, maybe chassis is just worn out?

If your breaking tranny or engines, your working them too hard some where.

Don't get discouraged, figure out the problem!!
Despite popular belief, racing is not a bolt together thing

I have those problems all the time. Heck the last 3 races I've raced I've been hit or someone spun out and I hit them uncontrollably and then I get hit by someone behind me. A lot of money has been spent lately on new parts because of wrecks I couldn't control. But I go back and try it again. Just keep your head up it will be your turn to shine soon.

IF You are going to keep the same setup, inspect and measure then write notes. Racing is all about determination heart and soul! Do it for yourself, step back and take a look at what the racer is telling you! Yes I believe the machine has a way to tell you what's it needs. No they don't talk to me, I'm not that far gone (yet). You and no one else knows YOUR racer better than you! You my already know what direction to go, so take a deep breath a couple days off to think, then go look it over and check everything with a new and different view! You will know when you find it, you have been doing this long enough! Let us know what you find! Remember a bad day of racing is still better than a good day at anything else!

Big subject... We all have been through some sort of funk called bad luck. Blown motors, wrecked mowers, bad finishes to name some things. But to learn from that and to get stronger because of it is the key. Lean on friends and fellow racers. That support will get anyone to the other side and start having fun again. Most of all, don't quit because of it. Just like an ill handling mower, put your spurs on and ride it out. Things will get better..  My 2 cents

Same here two race days were nothing but unpreventable, frustrating bad luck.. the other races where 4 wins out of 5, focus on the positive and not the negative plus remember: If ya ain't breaking anything then ya ain't trying hard enough! ;)
