12th Annual HD Fundraiser In Sparta, Michigan
The 12th Annual STA-BIL Nationals Race for Huntington’s Disease Research, Saturday-Sunday, July 19-20, 2014, “The Jim Keech Memorial Race for Huntington’s Disease” will again honor one of the U.S. Lawn Mower Racing Association’s most beloved competitors and raise awareness and money for Huntington’s Disease research.

Come race with us on one of the smoothest grass tracks in the series.
We are proud to announce that over the past nine years, this event as raised more than $100,000 for Huntington’s Disease Research.
Once again a very special raffle will take place for Huntington’s Disease Research. We have the original “Purple People Eater” raffle mower built by Doc Kuhfeldt. This machine was owned and successfully raced by Art Neavill before he passed away. Jim Mikula purchased it from his estate and restored it to once again give this popular machine away to the winner.
• 1st Prize: JP/IMOW Class racing mower, $1500 cash, or a John Deere D105 lawn tractor. Winner’s choice.
• 2nd Prize: Battery operated John Deere riding toy tractor
Donation: $2.00 per ticket or three (3) for $5.00. Drawing will be held Sunday, July 21, 2013. Winners do not need to be present to win, and delivery of the mower will be worked out with the winner. 100% of the proceeds go to Huntington’s disease research.

PLEASE NOTE:
Racers will pay a $20.00 fee, which covers insurance, pit access, rental of one transponder and computer timing & scoring. Additional transponders rental are $5.00. ALL other persons, including pit crew and minors must pay $5.00 for Pit Access.
Camping will be allowed in the pits as long as there are no fires or fireworks. This must be strictly adhered to because the track is located on airport grounds. There are also public camp grounds located about 10 minutes from the track in Cedar Springs MI.
There will be 7 portable facilities on site, 2 located in the pits
and 5 in the spectator area, and they will be cleaned Sun morning
