Some of the 16hp were 40ci
18hp42ci,difference being stroke.
Blocks are the same.

thanks.i have a 18hp thats blown up.saw a 16hp block on ebay.thought i would start getting stuff to build another.

SOME of the 16's are the older style block, i would look for another42 block or better yet a 46.
Ebay is the most expensive place to buy one!!
