An 820 is pretty much an 820.
There is one? that is bottom input (don't recall which). Other than that, some have a 5/8" input, some had 3/4".
Peerless no longer has the 017 conversion kit available. Rodney Rom sells a kit as does EC. I don't know what either contains.
Transaxle mowers aren't fast, it says so on the interwebz.

Jesse,

Careful!  Read Reply #35 on the http://www.heymow.com/index.php?topic=14202.30 Post.  The 820-005 transaxle is a 'B'-Input transaxle.  It also has a very long left axle which, at 39" overall end-to-end length, would work well on a wide-track racer, rules permitting.  It is also a fairly close-ratio transaxle (same Post, Reply #12), making it good for racing.

Respectfully; Rodney Rom; Rom's Reworks; Butler, MO
