Hey, they just announced at our Church Sunday that NewSpring was having a Lawn Mower Race July 11th in Boiling Springs and if I was not mistaken the winner gets $1,000.  It is supposed to be raced on a completely round asphalt track behind a school.  Go to NewSpring.CC and look for the connection.  First 50 people to sign up is what I was told.
Went back and found the link and $1,000 is the purse.  They are also having races in Spartanburg, Greenville, Anderson, Greenwood, Florence from what I understand.
