Berlin Ga. racetrack.
« on: June 18, 2014, 02:52:59 pm »
I talked to the Mayor of Berlin today and he is interested in getting the track going again. I know lots of you guys ran here years ago and I'd like to see what kind of interest is out there if he gets it up and going again. He said there was a national event there once so maybe it'll get some of you back in South Georgia. We weren't into racing then so I've never been to the track but probably will go look at it this weekend. Post up if you have raced there or are interested in coming. Thanks.

I'm sure we could bring a few down whenever it gets up and running. I personally would love  to see another national in Georgia to.

Sorry Guys. I've fallen down on my job. We haven't gone and looked at it yet but I promise we'll get it done soon. May get out there this afternoon. We've been busy in the garden and repairing racing mowers for the next season but i'll get it done.

We went to Berlin Saturday and looked at the track. The grass has taken it over but a little roundup and a motorgrader should fix it up. It may be awhile before we know any specifics on a race there but I will keep you guys informed.

We are having our 8th Annual Bounty Race in Byron GA on Sept 20-21, for you early birds we will be having open practice on Friday Sept 19. It’s a charity race for Brian Smith kids; he was a fellow lawnmower racer. Please spread the word and join us in a good cause!
