piston circlip

is there any trick to get the piston circlip outta the piston so i can remove pin

Use an o-ring pick. Works great and that's all I use.

They also feel great when they slip and stick about 1/8-1/4" into your finger. Not that I would know or anything..

Lol. Picks work great. If your pistion has a cut out , spin the clip just past cut out and pop it out .

I hate them so bad I quit useing them. I now use the nternl retaing ring that has the two small eys, they come right out with the tool.

The pick..You should try getting the ones in and out that GM uses on the 2.4 Ecotec engines. I've had a few words with those. Good thing is, the blood helps the piston go right back into the cylinder with minimal effort, and burns off almost instantly on start-up.

Al, my diet consists solely of milk, either whole or 2%, none of that water crap, red meat, potatoes, mountain dew and grizzly wintergreen. And I'm not kidding.
