That is the route ill probably be taking at this time. 49 rods, flywheel, clean up the ports a tad, lap the valves, the bore checked ok..a tad on the highend of tolerence but should take a hone and new rings ok, and rebuild carb. Really just needing a motor thats will be semireliable with a little more power than stock to put in my mower. Since im new to this i think i need to concentrate on my chasis and how to adjust things on it and how it effects the handling before i sink money into a more powerful engine. More than likely even with a flywheel ill be leaving the governor on and just adjust it to give me a little more rpms. Not to trusting in factory rocker arms and studs for to much more than that.
