Don't mill heads at all use long rods and flattop pistons...mill stock pistons .128

Thats ok for a for a milder build. I run the pistons at zero deck height and shave the heads around .050" when using the stock intake.  Just use thicker copper head gaskets, and you will probably want to O-ring the heads as well. But I would use the 16hp (30ci) heads since they have a smaller combustion chamber to start with
