I'm 3 1/3 hours away, so I would not be able to go look at it. I did run the vin through the GM inquiry system, and it was sold in West Bend Wi. and the only warranty work it ever had done was an oxygen sensor replaced at a dealership in Hudson Wi.
If you do get it and plan on pulling heavy loads, the 5 speed Allison has a tendency to hold fifth gear for too long on steep grades, and then downshift to third, where you take off like a rocketship, and can watch the fuel guage drop. There is a way you can "lock out" fifth gear so it will remain in fourth. Let me know if you want the info on how to do it. I have it done to my own truck and now when approaching a steep long grade, I hit a switch, it downshifts to fourth and never drops speed.
