We had no snow on Friday , now 14 inches and it's still coming down. Still need 8 weeks for another build to finish so I'm ok with it. Plus it's fun to drive in when you work 2 kms away.

Wake up yesterday 60 wake up this morning 1inch of ice and been snowing all morning so it hides it all, wont get over 21 today SO YES I AM VERY TIRED OF THIS

-24* here this morning. Only about a 10mph wind though, so it's almost t-shirt weather here. The snow depth is at my waist..i'm 6'. According to most of the local public works, the frost depth is anywhere from 7-9' currently.

ED IS THAT NORMAL FOR THE FROST DEPTH? I DO KNOW LAKE HURON IS FROZEN ALL THE WAY ACROSS. 15 MILES OUT IN SAGINAW BAY IS OVER 2 FOOT. HAVE HEARD OF 36" OUT THERE ALSO.

It typically does not get that far down here, but it has been colder than the last few years too..Usually the snow helps insulate the ground, but not this year.

I'm not 100% on this, but I think we have only seen temp's in the lower 30's 2 or 3 days since the end of November. Our deer rifle season was the last week of November. I actually had icecicles forming on my eyelashes sitting out a few mornings. I have had them on my facial hair, but never on my eyelashes..

WE ARE BREAKING ALL KINDS OF RECORDS, MOST DAYS IN A ROW WITH AT LEAST 1" OF SNOW ON THE GROUND, THE MOST DAYS UNDER FREEZING, SO ON AND SO FORTH! THE WEATHER PEOPLE ARE SAYING THE RECORDS ARE FROM 1950. THIS WILL TAKE OUT THE WEAK AND SICK CRITTERS AND BUGS, SO I GUESS THAT IS A UPSIDE, IF THERE IS ONE. THE ROAD RESTRICTIONS WON'T COME OFF TILL JULY AT THE RATE WE ARE GOING! THEN THE POT HOLES ARE GOING TO KEEP US BUSY TILL AUGUST! LOL
